"Childcare costs have rocketed 30pc since 2010 and parents are finding it increasingly difficult to make ends meet.
At the same time under David Cameron wages are down by £1,600 and the availability of childcare has plummeted.
Labour would extend free childcare from 15 to 25 hours for working parents with three and four year olds to help make work pay and boost the economy.
We’d also help parents by introducing a primary childcare guarantee so they can access a before and after school place for their child to help them balance work and family life."
