Lucy visits Lostock College in Trafford

This week Lucy visited Lostock College, a secondary modern in Trafford, with local MP Kate Green. Lucy and Kate met with staff and governors before touring the school's facilities and taking questions from students.

Lucy said:

It was great to meet with the staff and pupils at Lostock College today. Lostock is a fantastic example of a secondary modern with a great ethos and they can be proud of what they've achieved as a school. I particularly enjoyed hearing the views of the pupils and was really impressed by the wide range of subjects they wanted to discuss. It's clear that Lostock work hard to help every pupil reach his or her potential and I'd like to thank Ms Farrent, Mr Patel and all the students for showing me around; keep up the good work!
