Lucy backs the People's History Museum for Guardian museum award

International_Womens_Day_1.jpgLucy is encouraging the people of Manchester to vote for the city's very own People's History Museum to win the Museums & Heritage Awards 2015 Guardian Culture award. The museum is one of five attractions to receive the most nominations and Lucy is supporting them in the poll.

Lucy said:

"I'm delighted to hear that the People's History Museum is one of the five attractions up for the award and I'd urge everyone who's visited the museum to vote for them in the Guardian poll. Manchester is a city with a rich and diverse political history, from women's suffrage to workers' rights, and the People's History Museum do an excellent job exhibiting the history of democracy and working people. The museum is a great asset to the city and I'm extremely proud to have such a fantastic attraction here in my constituency."

Voting closes on Friday 20th March and you can vote for the People's History Museum online here.
