I’m excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join my team as a Constituency Support Manager based in my Manchester Central office. This is a rewarding and dynamic role, working directly with me and my team to make a real difference for our community.

About the Role

As Constituency Support Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing my constituency visits, overseeing correspondence, and ensuring we deliver maximum impact on the issues that matter most to residents. You’ll work on specialist areas like leasehold reform and building safety, tackle complex casework, and manage projects that have significant impact locally and beyond.

The successful candidate will also oversee community issues, provide management to other team members, and liaise with government agencies, the voluntary sector, and constituents to resolve matters effectively.

What We’re Looking For

I’m looking for a highly organised, motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to serving the people of Manchester Central. While prior experience working for an MP or in a similar role would be an advantage, we encourage applications from candidates with transferable skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing constituency visits and time to maximize impact.
• Overseeing correspondence and allocating work across the team.
• Developing expertise in areas like leasehold reform and building safety.
• Managing community issues, complex casework, and significant local projects.
• Researching local and national issues to support my work.
• Maintaining positive, professional relationships with residents and stakeholders.

• Salary: £29,727 – £46,381 (in line with experience)
• Contract: Permanent
